Rejection is often just an answer from someone towards a request, expectation, or desire we hoped would be accepted. Yet why does rejection sometimes feel unbearable? Because the impact of rejection is rarely about the event alone. More often, it is deeply connected to ego, identity, attachment, and the image we created around love, trust, and self-worth. In relationships, rejection can feel like a wound that reaches far beyond the surface.
