Awakening Your Worth Through Inner Dialogue

Awakening Your Worth Through Inner Dialogue

People often ask me what "Awakening Your Worth" really means.

Many assume it is about confidence, self-esteem or positive thinking.

To me, it begins somewhere much quieter.

It begins with the conversation you have with yourself.

That conversation is what I call inner dialogue.

Whether we realise it or not, we are constantly talking to ourselves.

The quality of that conversation shapes the quality of our lives.

Every Situation Begins with a Conversation

When something happens, we often believe the event itself determines how we feel.

In reality, there is another step.

The event happens.

Then our inner dialogue interprets it.

Only then do we experience the emotion.

The event may be outside our control.

The conversation rarely is.

That is why two people can experience the same situation and walk away with completely different lessons.

Cause and Effect Begins Within

We usually think of cause and effect as something happening outside us.

Someone said something.

Someone made a decision.

Something unexpected occurred.

But there is another cause and effect taking place.

A thought creates an emotion.

An emotion influences a behaviour.

A behaviour creates a result.

The result then reinforces another thought.

Without noticing it, we create cycles that repeat throughout our lives.

Changing the conversation within often changes the outcome without.

Every Person Is a Mirror

One lesson that continues to humble me is this.

Whenever I become frustrated with someone else, I ask myself another question.

"What is this situation reflecting back to me?"

The purpose is not to blame myself.

The purpose is to remain curious.

Sometimes the mirror reveals my expectations.

Sometimes it reveals an old wound.

Sometimes it reveals a lesson I have not yet completed.

The moment I ask better questions, my relationship with the situation begins to change.

Ordinary Life Is Already Teaching Us

People sometimes imagine that personal growth only happens during workshops or coaching sessions.

I have discovered something different.

Life teaches us every day.

While dancing in a Zumba class.

While sharing a meal.

While waiting in traffic.

While attending a family gathering.

Even while watching someone take the fish cheek before everyone else at the dinner table.

Every ordinary moment contains an invitation to observe our own reactions.

The lesson is rarely about the fish.

The lesson is about the conversation happening inside us.

Trusting the Wisdom in Your Voice

For many years we have been taught to look outside ourselves for answers.

Advice.

Approval.

Validation.

Comparison.

These can all be useful.

But eventually we must learn to hear our own voice again.

Trusting your inner wisdom does not mean believing you are always right.

It means believing you are capable of listening honestly, reflecting deeply, and responding with integrity.

That trust grows each time you pause before reacting.

Each time you choose awareness instead of autopilot.

Each time you ask yourself, "What is really happening within me?"

A Simple Morning Practice

Every morning, I invite people to join me for a simple check-in.

Before rushing into the demands of the day, we pause.

We thank those who have blessed our lives.

And then we do something many people forget.

We thank ourselves.

Not because we are perfect.

But because we have shown up for another day.

From there we simply notice.

What am I feeling?

What am I holding onto?

What am I ready to release?

Sometimes that single conversation changes the direction of the entire day.

Awakening Your Worth

Your worth is not determined by your income.

Your position.

Your appearance.

Or other people's opinions.

Your worth has always been there.

Inner dialogue simply helps remove the layers that prevent you from seeing it.

When you begin listening with honesty instead of judgement, something beautiful happens.

You stop trying to become someone else.

You begin remembering who you have always been.

Reflection

Today, before asking,

"What will people think about me?"

Try asking instead,

"What do I truly think about myself?"

That single question may become the beginning of a very different life.

And perhaps, the beginning of awakening your worth.

Living Before We Die: What Death Taught Me About Life

Living Before We Die: What Death Taught Me About Life

There are certain conversations that many of us avoid.

Death is one of them.

We whisper about it. We postpone thinking about it. We tell ourselves there will always be another tomorrow. Yet every once in a while, life gently reminds us that tomorrow is never guaranteed.

Recently, I found myself attending two wakes within two days. As I paid my last respects, I wasn't overwhelmed by sadness alone. Instead, I found myself reflecting on a much bigger question.

What does it really mean to live?

As an Inner Dialogue Coach, I spend much of my time helping people listen to the conversations happening inside themselves. Ironically, it is often the reality of death that helps us hear those conversations more clearly.

The Conversation I Had with My Daughter

I once told my daughter something that surprised her.

"When the day comes that I leave this world, I want you to be happy."

At first, that sounds strange.

Why would a mother say something like that?

Because I don't want my children to remember a life that was only endured.

I want them to remember a life that was fully lived.

I have experienced joy and disappointment.

I have known success and failure.

I have laughed with friends and cried through difficult seasons.

I have loved deeply, forgiven imperfectly, learned continually, and accepted that life will always have another lesson waiting for me.

If I have truly embraced every season of my life, then my departure should not only bring tears. It should also bring gratitude for a life that was lived with intention.

There Is No Graduation Ceremony in Life

Many of us treat life as though we are working toward a final certificate.

"If I achieve this..."

"If I earn enough..."

"If I solve all my problems..."

Then I will finally arrive.

But life doesn't work that way.

There is no graduation ceremony.

No one hands us a certificate that says we have completed being human.

Instead, every experience simply makes us a little wiser—if we are willing to learn from it.

The lessons never stop.

The opportunities to grow never disappear.

The only question is whether we are paying attention.

Every Emotion Belongs

We often divide emotions into two groups.

The ones we like.

And the ones we wish would disappear.

But emotions are not enemies.

Joy reminds us to celebrate.

Sadness reminds us what matters.

Fear reminds us to pay attention.

Disappointment reminds us to adjust.

Every emotion carries information.

When we reject our emotions, we reject part of our own humanity.

Living fully means allowing ourselves to experience the complete spectrum of being alive.

Life Is Asking Better Questions

As I reflected on death, I realised it was not asking me whether I had enough possessions or achievements.

Instead, it quietly asked:

  • Did you live according to your values?

  • Did you love generously?

  • Did you forgive when it was difficult?

  • Did you become more honest with yourself?

  • Did you listen to your own inner wisdom?

These are the questions that remain long after titles and accomplishments fade.

Awakening Your Worth

Perhaps awakening our worth is not about becoming someone new.

Perhaps it is remembering who we have always been beneath our fears, expectations and doubts.

Every day offers another opportunity to choose authenticity over perfection, courage over comfort, and awareness over autopilot.

Death is not merely an ending.

Sometimes it is life's greatest teacher.

It reminds us that our time is precious, but more importantly, it reminds us to make that time meaningful.

Reflection

Pause for a moment and ask yourself:

If today were my last ordinary day, would I be proud of the way I am living today?

You don't need to answer anyone else.

Simply begin the conversation with yourself.

That conversation may be the beginning of awakening your worth.

Trust the Wisdom of Your Own Voice

Trust the Wisdom of Your Own Voice

Created: 240726

One of the greatest discoveries in my own journey is this:

Your voice already knows.

Not the loud voice of fear.

Not the voice of inherited expectations.

Not the voice that keeps comparing.

I am talking about the quieter voice underneath all of that.

The one that patiently waits until we become still enough to hear it.

As an Inner Dialogue Coach, I have learned that transformation does not begin with answers.

It begins with listening.

Every experience that crosses our path offers an opportunity for awareness.

Awareness creates conversation.

Conversation creates alignment.

And when we live in alignment with who we truly are, transformation happens naturally.

This is why I continue sharing my own Inner Dialogue.

Not because I have completed the journey.

But because I believe we learn together by remaining human.

My hope is not that you become another version of me.

My hope is that you become more deeply yourself.

Trust the wisdom of your own voice.

Start Your Day with Presence

Start Your Day with Presence

Created: 240726

Many people begin the day by checking messages before checking themselves.

We measure our mornings by notifications, appointments, deadlines, and responsibilities.

But who measures our presence?

Presence is not doing nothing.

Presence is becoming aware of where we are before deciding where we need to go.

As I continue walking my own Inner Dialogue journey, I realise that awareness changes everything.

A simple conversation.

A sentence someone speaks.

A tree beside the road.

A quiet moment with coffee.

Life is constantly speaking to us.

The question is not whether life is communicating.

The question is whether we are present enough to hear it.

That is why my morning LIVE is intentionally simple.

No pressure.

No performance.

Just a gentle invitation to begin the day with awareness.

Because when we become present with ourselves, we begin trusting the wisdom of our own voice.

Come As You Are. You Belong Here.

Come As You Are. You Belong Here.

Created : 240726

There is something beautiful about being welcomed before being understood.

So much of life teaches us that we need to become better before we belong. We need to become more successful, more confident, more knowledgeable, more healed. Only then do we feel worthy of taking up space.

But what if belonging came first?

Every morning when I go LIVE, I am not looking for perfect people. I am creating a space where human beings can simply arrive.

You don't have to speak.

You don't have to explain yourself.

You don't even have to know what you're looking for.

Just come.

As an Inner Dialogue Coach, my work is not about telling you who you should become. It is about helping you hear the wisdom that already exists within you.

I believe your worth has never disappeared. Sometimes it simply becomes buried beneath expectations, responsibilities, inherited values, disappointments, and the noise of everyday life.

That is why I call this journey Awakening Your Worth.

Every morning is another opportunity to come home to yourself.

You belong here.

I Don't Have a Script

I Don't Have a Script

People often tell me:

“Peggy, I don't know what you're talking about.”

Sometimes they even tell me:

“I don't understand English.”

And sometimes:

“I don't even understand what I'm going through.”

But then they say something very interesting:

“I feel very comfortable when I come into your room, and I stay.”

That is why I want to explain this in Cantonese and Mandarin too, because many people who come into my room speak Mandarin or Cantonese. English is simply the common language we use every day.

We have become so used to Zoom meetings, Malaysian English is practically number one. And now Mandarin is becoming another common language in our daily communication.

So I said it in Cantonese:

很多人同我講,Peggy,我都唔知你講乜,有時我自己都亂緊,但係我一入咗你個房,你的 TikTok room,我就覺得好舒服。

所以我會開始,明白唔明白,係覺得你自己會明白我。

Then I said it in Mandarin as well:

很多人跟我講,Peggy,我都不知道你講什麼,因為你講英文,我的英文又不好。可是我進了你的 TikTok 房,我就覺得感覺非常舒服。

這個就是代表你的潛意識明白。

因為很多東西是潛意識的。

我學來的了解就是,潛意識有它自己的語言。

你不需要知道那個英語的感覺。

有時你進了這個房間,你就會有那個感覺。

And that is exactly what I am trying to explain.

I am not going to prove whether this is scientifically true or not.

I am simply sharing how I understand it through my own experience and through what I have learned in NLP.

The unconscious mind can capture things that are foreign to you, and over time, you adapt to them.

It is a little bit like when I first started using fake eyelashes.

For the first few days, I looked like a cat coming out of a drain!

But now I just put them on, adjust them, and they look perfectly fine.

So sometimes language is like that too.

Your unconscious mind knows how to learn.

It knows how to adapt.

You may not consciously understand everything, but something inside you may still be registering the experience.

And sometimes that is why people come into my room even when they are uncomfortable, anxious or simply having a difficult day.

They don't necessarily understand every word.

But they feel something.

And I don't think it is only because of me.

There are many people doing this kind of work.

Anybody who enters this room contributes something to the atmosphere of the room.

Everybody contributes to the frequency and vibration of the universe in their own way.

And if you want to know more about frequency and vibration, Google it.

Ask ChatGPT.

Ask AI in English, Malay, Arabic, Cantonese or whatever language you understand best.

There is plenty of information available.

I am not a scientist.

I cannot explain everything scientifically.

I am simply sharing my life as I live it, and how I bring my life experience into my work as a coach.

That is what I do.

I am being human, and I am being a coach.

And yes, I know that normally I don't talk this much in the morning.

But these two days, I have had a lot of thoughts.

So I just speak.

Those of you who come regularly already know that I don't have a script.

I have keywords.

Especially for my Monday 5 p.m. and Friday 5 p.m. sessions.

I have keywords.

And then I go.

Tomorrow, I have something on, but I am pushing forward to get the 5 p.m. Live done.

So if you're still here and willing, join me tomorrow at 5 p.m.

And help me by sharing, liking and commenting.

Those are the three things TikTok will reward me for.

So I hope you can at least help me in that way.

Thank you very much.

You are so lovely.

I Don't Fit Into the Corporate Box

I Don't Fit Into the Corporate Box

Let me clarify something because I don't want my earlier sharing about the corporate world to be misunderstood.

I was not attacking the corporate world.

I was sharing my own inability to accept the rules and regulations that are set within a corporate environment — a world that is often clean, proper and effective.

If you heard me wrongly, my apology.

I simply cannot fit into that proper corporate world because I am a random person. I don't like to be boxed in.

And I must really thank my lucky stars that I was not fit enough to join the corporate world.

But that does not mean I reject people from that world.

In fact, I welcome anybody to come into my world.

And my world has what I would describe as high boundaries and low resistance.

Meaning, you come in to be yourself with your full energy, and yet you understand what can be done and what cannot be done, what should be done and what shouldn't be done.

There is no need to keep asking whether something is right or wrong according to somebody else's standard.

Sometimes you simply know that something needs to be done.

Then you do it.

For example, sometimes you have to sack somebody.

You just have to sack them.

In my 35 years of being a manager, I only sacked two people — actually, three.

Not because I wanted to.

It was because they were creating too much disharmony within the team.

Of course, in the corporate world, there are different tools and procedures. You follow the SOP. If someone is not performing according to the rules, there are warnings, processes and eventually the right to ask that person to leave.

And most people, whether they are in a corporate environment or running something on their own, will do their best to avoid reaching that point.

Because nobody wants to admit that they hired somebody who was not the right fit for the organisation.

So remember, the corporate world can be a very proper world.

It is just not my world.

That's all I'm saying.

I welcome anybody and everybody, from any kind of world, to come into our world — what I call the world for the children of the universe — where you can become yourself.

Just for this one hour, from 9 to 10.

And even if I am not in the room, you can still create that one hour for yourself.

Switch on some music.

Switch on meditation.

Listen to Solfeggio frequencies.

Do whatever works for you.

Just for one hour, be with yourself.

Detox.

Purge your thoughts.

And remember: you are allowed to create your own way of coming back to yourself.

So, my apology if I sounded unethical when I commented on corporates.

That is simply where I don't fit in.

Thank you for giving me a chance to explain.

Go Out and Be Yourself

Go Out and Be Yourself

Children of the New Universe, we have two more minutes before 10.

Two more minutes to reconnect with yourself before you go out and show people who you are—

the person who shines for yourself.

And I want you to know something.

Even if I don't call out your name during the Live, it doesn't mean I don't appreciate you.

You know in your heart that you are appreciated whenever you come into this room.

And of course, if you can help me share this space, that would be an added advantage.

Because somewhere out there, there may be someone looking for a place to hang on to while they find their way back to themselves.

Maybe they will learn how to have an Inner Dialogue.

Maybe they will discover something about themselves.

Maybe their life will become a little better simply because you shared this room with them.

And that is all I ask.

Of course, all the love you send me, all the light you send me, whatever you send my way—

I receive it with gratitude.

Stay blessed with whatever you have.

And build the space that you want for yourself.

Because in Awakening Your Worth, that is what matters.

You creating a space where you can be yourself.

Before I end, let me introduce myself again.

I'm Peggy Ang, an Inner Dialogue Coach focused on awakening your worth.

I help you trust the wisdom of your voice.

If you are interested in my coaching programme, you can connect with me.

Send me an email.

And if you already have my phone number, simply let me know that you are looking for coaching, and I'll get back to you at my earliest available moment.

You don't have to wait until everything in your life is figured out before you ask for support.

Sometimes, the conversation is where the figuring out begins.

It's already 10:01.

So now—

go out and be yourself.

Not the person everybody expects you to be.

Not the person you think you have to become.

Be the person who knows your own value.

And remember:

Thank yourself.

Every time.

Thank yourself for showing up.

Thank yourself for trying.

Thank yourself for learning.

Thank yourself for continuing.

Because charity begins from home.

And so does appreciation.

Thank yourself.

Okay, Children of the New Universe.

Go and have a beautiful day.

Be yourself.

Be with yourself.

And let yourself shine.

Bye-bye.

Okay.

Good job, Peggy.

I'm done.

Awakening Your Worth: The Problem Was Never the Problem

Awakening Your Worth: The Problem Was Never the Problem

By Peggy Ang 270726

Have you ever noticed what happens the moment you hear the word "problem"?

Most of us react before we even understand what the problem is. Our minds immediately race ahead. We imagine the worst possible outcome. Anxiety begins to build, and before long, we feel trapped in a corner with no way out.

But what if the problem isn't the real issue?

What if it is the story we begin telling ourselves about the problem?

That is where Inner Dialogue begins.

A Room for the Children of the Universe

Every morning when I go live on TikTok, I invite people into what I call The Room for the Children of the Universe.

It is not a room where you come to impress anyone.

It is not a room where you need to agree with me.

It is not even a room where you need to speak.

It is simply a space where you can spend a few minutes with the most important person in your life—yourself.

In a world that constantly asks us to perform, compare, and prove ourselves, perhaps five quiet minutes with ourselves is one of the greatest gifts we can receive.

Transformation Is Coming Home

People often think transformation means becoming someone new.

I don't believe that.

Transformation is not about creating a different version of yourself.

It is about removing everything that has covered your authentic self.

It is about remembering who you were before fear, expectations, labels, and conditioning told you who you should become.

You are not becoming someone else.

You are coming home to yourself.

Why We Need Inner Dialogue

Many people ask me,

"If I know how to talk to myself, why would I need a coach?"

Because our inner dialogue is influenced by many things:

  • our upbringing,

  • our family values,

  • our fears,

  • our culture,

  • our past experiences,

  • and sometimes, expectations that don't even belong to us.

When we only rely on ourselves, we can become biased without realizing it.

A coach doesn't replace your wisdom.

A coach helps you hear your own wisdom more clearly.

The Missing Document

Today I experienced something very simple.

I couldn't find an important document that I needed for my trip tomorrow.

Immediately my mind started creating different scenarios.

Should I cancel my Zumba class?

Should I go home?

Should I postpone my live session?

What if I can't find it?

What if I can't travel tomorrow?

Notice what happened.

The document wasn't creating the stress.

My thinking was.

So I stopped.

I spoke to myself.

I asked,

"What actually needs solving?"

I realized I simply needed to go home, spend some time looking for the document, and then continue with my evening as planned.

Within half an hour, I found it.

The problem wasn't as big as I had imagined.

But something interesting remained.

The emotional scar.

That uncomfortable feeling reminded me of something much bigger.

It reminded me that I don't have a proper filing system.

Instead of criticising myself, I asked,

"What can I improve?"

When I return from my holiday, I know one of my priorities is to organise my documents properly.

That is Inner Dialogue.

Not judging yourself.

Learning from yourself.

Awareness. Conversation. Alignment.

This is the process I use.

1. Awareness

Become aware of what you are feeling.

Don't judge it.

Simply notice it.

2. Conversation

Ask yourself questions.

Why am I feeling this?

What story am I telling myself?

Is this really mine?

Am I reacting to today, or is something from my past being triggered?

3. Alignment

Now choose your next action.

Not based on fear.

Not based on guilt.

Not based on what other people expect.

Choose the action that is aligned with your values.

Measure Yourself Differently

We compare ourselves all the time.

Someone is richer.

Someone is prettier.

Someone has a better career.

Someone appears happier.

Comparison is human.

But perhaps we have been measuring ourselves against the wrong person.

Instead of comparing yourself with someone else...

Compare yourself with the person you were before you entered this room.

Are you more aware?

More peaceful?

More honest with yourself?

More compassionate?

That is growth.

Boundaries Are Not Walls

Many people think boundaries mean pushing people away.

That isn't how I see boundaries.

A boundary protects your energy.

It reminds you that you cannot pour endlessly from an empty cup.

As you become more authentic, some relationships naturally change.

Not because anyone is bad.

Not because you love them less.

Sometimes your values grow in different directions.

That is part of awakening.

Learning to Appreciate Yourself

Forty years ago I was very slim.

People might think that was wonderful.

But part of the reason I was slim was because I didn't always have enough food.

Today I am healthier.

Yes, I have gained weight.

I still exercise.

I dance Zumba.

I attend Pilates.

I watch what I eat.

Not because I want to punish my body.

Because I appreciate it.

I no longer measure myself by how closely I resemble a younger version of me.

I measure myself by whether I am taking care of the body that carries me through life.

Looking at Problems Differently

Recently I came across an exercise inspired by Stoic philosophy.

Imagine stepping outside yourself.

Look at your problem from across the room.

Then imagine looking from above your house.

Then above your town.

Then above your country.

Eventually your problem becomes a tiny dot.

Has the problem disappeared?

No.

But your perspective has changed.

And often, when perspective changes, solutions become easier to find.

Your Worth Has Never Left You

Whether you explore personality, coaching, BaZi, DNA reports, meditation, or personal development, all these are simply information.

They do not define who you are.

They help you understand yourself.

But only you can decide how you will live.

That is why I always return to Inner Dialogue.

External information may guide us.

Our inner wisdom helps us choose.

Coming Home

Your past is there to teach you.

Your future is there to prepare for.

But your life is lived here.

Now.

This moment.

Be the best version of yourself that this moment allows.

Not yesterday's version.

Not tomorrow's version.

Today's.

Because the most beautiful person who will spend every moment of your life with you...

...is you.

You Can Make It a Good Day

You Can Make It a Good Day

It's 9:56.

We have four more minutes to be with yourself.

Hi, SK. Welcome to the room.

LZZ, you're back! Welcome.

I hope you have a good day.

Actually, I'm planning on having a good day myself.

I just feel very excited about something.

I don't know what it is.

But I have this feeling that something very good is going to happen today.

What?

I don't know.

Maybe I strike the lottery!

But I didn't buy a lottery ticket, so...

Maybe not that. 😂

Still, I feel that something good is coming.

And sometimes, when you are doing your best to be yourself, things you want seem to flow your way.

But let's be honest.

Today, the traffic didn't exactly flow my way.

And perhaps it was partly because I wasn't paying attention.

I wasn't even putting on a smile when I was walking.

So sometimes, when things happen around us, we also have to look at ourselves.

Not every day is going to be a good day.

But—

you can make it a good day.

You can decide how you want to show up.

You can choose what you want to focus on.

You can choose how you want to respond.

And sometimes, simply by being yourself, you can make someone else feel better.

You can help somebody else shine.

You don't always have to do something extraordinary.

Sometimes—

just be you.

That's it.

Three more minutes to reconnect with yourself.

Take these few minutes.

Breathe.

Check in.

Listen to yourself.

And when you leave this room, I hope you feel a little more connected to yourself than when you came in.

Then you are fully equipped to go and live your day.

Not because everything is going to go perfectly.

But because you are with yourself.

Have a beautiful day, Children of the Universe.

And remember—

**you don't have to wait for a good day to arrive.

Sometimes, you are the one who makes it good.**

Self-Discovery and Reflection

**🎥 Self-Discovery and Reflection -Throwback 010826

Sometimes, growth isn't measured by what we achieve. It's measured by how we respond.

One of the reflections I shared during a previous live was this:

We all have good days and difficult days.

Think of your emotions as a savings account.

On your good days, make deposits.

Deposit gratitude.
Deposit joy.
Deposit laughter.
Deposit peace.

Because when life's challenges arrive—and they will—you'll have something beautiful to draw upon.

Recently, while travelling, my phone suddenly stopped working properly. Messages wouldn't send, and I couldn't figure out why. In the past, I would probably have become frustrated.

This time, I simply smiled and said, "Things happen."

I took my time, worked through the problem, and eventually everything was fine.

The lesson wasn't about my phone.

The lesson was about my response.

That reminded me that Inner Dialogue is no longer just something I teach—it has become how I choose to live.

Every day, we have a choice.

We can react from old habits...

Or we can pause and ask ourselves:

✨ What am I feeling right now?

✨ Why is this feeling still here?

✨ What choice do I have?

These three simple questions have helped me transform many difficult moments into opportunities for growth.

If you've been following my morning lives, thank you for spending that quiet hour with me.

If you're new here, welcome.

Every weekday at 9:00 a.m., I create a space where we can slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and trust the wisdom of our own voice.

Because your worth has never depended on the opinions of others.

It has always lived within you.

❤️ Here's to choosing awareness over reaction, and kindness over self-judgment.
