Awakening Your Worth #AYW Day 16 : 5 Possible Mistakes

I’m human—and I’m learning to live that fully. “Good/bad,” “right/wrong”—so much of that is just the imprint of how we were raised.

Many people assume love means protecting others from growing pains—wrapping them in silk and hoping they’ll bloom. But is that real love? Or is it fear dressed up as care?

I’ve had to unlearn this with my daughter. For her first 10 years, I did what I knew. Then I woke up. At the time I couldn’t name it; I only knew I was searching. That search got real after two mental-health traumas. I’m grateful I survived—and I’m grateful they woke me.

Let’s be honest: we all make mistakes. Most of us were trained not to own them—out of ego, fear, or “reputation.” In my life, owning mistakes is non-negotiable. They’re not proof of failure; they’re tuition. Acknowledging them is how I grow stronger, wiser, kinder.

This week, our live session reached 11.1K views on TikTok. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who dropped by. Some stayed, some left. Either way, I trust each person caught a small taste of their worth. With 8.23 billion people on earth, there are still so many hearts to reach—and I’m just getting started.

  1. Not Owning the Process
    Waiting for validation or a push instead of driving your own growth.

  2. Skipping Shadow Work
    Avoiding discomfort where the real breakthroughs hide.

  3. Over-relying on External Blessings
    Expecting the Nobleman or Heaven to do the heavy lifting while neglecting your human 7%.

  4. Mismanaging Emotions
    Letting frustration or low mood block the flow of blessings and self-worth.

  5. Stopping After a Setback
    Treating challenges as a “sign to quit” instead of a cue to adjust and continue.
