The Live They See… and the Journey They Don't

The Live They See… and the Journey They Don't

Every morning, I show up for my TikTok Live.

People see me sharing my thoughts about self-worth, inner dialogue, and transformation. They hear my stories, my reflections, and sometimes they think the words simply flow.

The truth?

They don't always.

Today's recording reminded me of that.

Several of my voice recordings failed to process. Some ideas disappeared before they could be captured. I found myself repeating thoughts, trying to remember what I had just said, wondering if I could recreate the same flow.

For a moment, I felt frustrated.

Then I smiled.

Perhaps this was another lesson in Awakening Your Worth.

Life doesn't always allow us to capture every perfect moment.

Sometimes the message is lost.

Sometimes technology doesn't cooperate.

Sometimes our thoughts arrive faster than our tools can keep up.

But none of these determine our worth.

As an Inner Dialogue Coach, I often remind others that transformation begins within. Today, I had the opportunity to practise what I teach.

Instead of asking, "Why is this happening to me?" I asked myself,

"What is this experience inviting me to learn?"

The answer came quietly.

Perfection is not my purpose.

Presence is.

Every TikTok Live is not a performance for me.

It is a conversation.

Some days the conversation flows beautifully.

Some days it stumbles.

Some days I lose my words.

Some days I discover entirely new ones.

What you see on screen is only a small part of the journey.

Behind every live session are hours of reflection, questioning, reading, learning, and having countless conversations with my own inner dialogue. I don't go live because I have all the answers. I go live because I believe that when we are willing to think honestly together, we all grow.

Ironically, today's technical difficulties became part of my own lesson.

Transformation is not about controlling every outcome.

It is about choosing how we respond when things don't go according to plan.

I am still learning.

I am still refining my message.

I am still discovering better questions.

And perhaps that is exactly what makes this journey real.

So, if you've ever wondered whether I have everything figured out, the answer is no.

I don't.

What I do have is a willingness to keep showing up.

To keep listening.

To keep learning.

To keep trusting the wisdom that emerges through my own inner dialogue.

If today's live wasn't perfect, that's okay.

Because neither am I.

And maybe that is the most authentic place from which transformation can begin.

Thank you for walking this journey with me.

Let's continue awakening our worth—one conversation at a time.

Let the Energy Move, Not Control You

Let the Energy Move, Not Control You

Children of the Universe,

As you vibrate with the energy of today, ask yourself:

What is the energy that keeps you going?

And what is the energy—or emotion—that is holding you back?

Sometimes, even what we call “bad emotions” can motivate us.

The question is not whether an emotion is good or bad.

The question is:

What are you going to do with it?

Yesterday, I was watching a movie, and there was one statement that stayed with me.

The story was about a mother who had accumulated debts, and her child felt responsible for paying them off. I don't remember every detail of the movie, but the situation reminded me of something from my own life.

There was a time when I got involved in what initially looked like a legitimate business opportunity.

Everything seemed convincing.

You start believing in it. You put money into it. You trust the people involved.

And sometimes, it takes two or three years before you realise that something isn't quite what you thought it was.

In my case, the money was eventually converted into cryptocurrency, and the value reduced significantly.

Looking back, I don't simply say, “They conned me.”

I also have to look at myself.

Because the truth is, I didn't have the knowledge to understand investment properly.

And this is an important distinction.

Today, I no longer invest.

Not because I believe every investment is bad.

Not because I don't trust that someone can do a good job.

I simply don't trust myself to make the same mistake again when I don't have the knowledge.

And that's okay.

I love many things in life.

But numbers?

Except for the numbers in my bank account, I don't really love them!

So I have made a decision.

Instead of putting my energy into something I don't understand, I pour my passion into what I know and what I love:

Coaching.

Sharing my TikTok Live sessions.

Having conversations with people.

Being here whenever I can.

That, for me, is a much better investment.

Not necessarily a financial investment.

An investment of my energy, my time and myself.

And that brings me back to something I often talk about:

Boundaries.

Recently, I caught myself saying “barriers” when I really meant “boundaries.”

And I think the difference is important.

barrier blocks.

boundary protects.

When you build a barrier, you may be saying:

“I don't want anything or anyone to come near me.”

But when you create a boundary, you are saying:

“This is what I allow. This is what I don't allow. And I am responsible for protecting my energy.”

That's very different.

Your boundary isn't there to shut the world out.

It is there to help you stay connected to yourself.

So today, perhaps don't try so hard to get rid of every uncomfortable emotion.

Maybe ask yourself:

What is this emotion trying to tell me?

Is there something I need to release?

Something I need to learn?

Something I need to stop repeating?

Something I need to protect?

Or perhaps something I need to finally give myself permission to do?

You don't have to digest everything at once.

You don't have to solve your whole life this morning.

Just take a little time for yourself.

Stay in the room.

Have your coffee.

Take a breath.

And ask:

“What can I do for myself today?”

Be selfish for once.

Not selfish in the way we usually judge the word.

But selfish enough to remember:

You matter too.

My 9 a.m. sessions are very simple.

There is no elaborate script.

I may have a few keywords, but most of the time, I simply show up and talk.

Recently, I discovered that I could reuse my recordings and turn them into blogs.

So yes, I use AI to help me transcribe and organise what I say.

But the thoughts?

The experiences?

The conversations?

Those are mine.

And perhaps that is what I love most about this journey.

I don't have everything figured out.

I'm still learning.

I'm still making mistakes.

I'm still discovering myself.

But I keep showing up.

And perhaps that's enough for today.

So, Children of the Universe, take your coffee.

Take your one hour.

Look at your energy.

Let go of what no longer serves you.

Strengthen your boundaries.

And keep the energy that keeps you moving forward.

You don't have to become someone else.

Sometimes, you simply need to stop giving your energy away.

And come back to yourself.

One Hour for Yourself Isn't Selfish — It's Authentic

One Hour for Yourself Isn't Selfish — It's Authentic

Every morning, I invite you into a very simple practice.

There is no pressure to perform.
There is no expectation to impress anyone.

Just come into the room and be yourself.

Before the world asks anything of you, spend one hour reconnecting with the one person who will be with you for the rest of your life—you.

This hour is your space for inner dialogue.

Ask yourself questions that are about you.

  • How am I feeling today?

  • What do I need right now?

  • What is my heart trying to tell me?

  • What deserves my attention today?

There are no right or wrong answers. The practice is simply to stay present with yourself.

Your Voice May Help Someone Else

If something comes up during our session, leave a comment.

Don't underestimate the value of your words.

An authentic comment is never "just a comment." When you speak honestly about your experience, someone else who is silently carrying the same struggle may finally feel understood.

Sometimes your healing becomes someone else's hope.

Check In With Your Emotions

As you begin your morning, ask yourself:

What emotion from last night am I still carrying today?

Perhaps you were disappointed.
Perhaps you felt frustrated.
Perhaps there was sadness or worry.

The intensity may have softened overnight, but the emotion may still be sitting quietly within you.

Notice it.

You don't need to fight it. Simply acknowledge that it is there.

Awareness is the first step toward healing.

Create Your Positive Emotion Safe Box

Not every emotion needs fixing.

If something beautiful happened yesterday—a joyful conversation, a kind gesture, a small victory, or simply a peaceful moment—store it in what I like to call your Positive Emotion Safe Box.

These memories become emotional resources.

On days when your energy feels low or your confidence dips, you can return to this safe box and remind yourself that joy, gratitude, and hope have always existed within your life.

We often remember our pain more easily than our blessings.

Let's consciously preserve our blessings too.

Thank Yourself

Most importantly, thank yourself for showing up.

Thank yourself for making time.

Thank yourself for choosing to reconnect with who you are.

This room doesn't belong to me.

It doesn't belong to you.

It belongs to all of us, together—a space where we can simply be ourselves without pretending.

For one hour, allow yourself to pause.

Allow yourself to breathe.

Allow yourself to listen to your own voice.

People may call it selfish.

I don't.

I call it authenticity.

Because when you truly know yourself, you show up better for everyone else.

So tomorrow morning, come in.

Relax.

Be yourself.

And for just one hour, choose you.

Strength Is Another Way of Awakening Your Worth

Strength Is Another Way of Awakening Your Worth

There comes a point in life when we stop asking, "How can I lose weight?" and begin asking a much better question:

"How can I become stronger?"

Recently, I found myself reflecting on my own health journey.

I eat in moderation. I walk between 8,000 and 10,000 steps every day. I attend Zumba and Pilates every week. Yet the number on the weighing scale doesn't always reflect the effort I put in.

For a moment, I felt frustrated.

Then I realised something important.

Perhaps my body wasn't asking me to do more. Perhaps it was asking me to do something different.

The Difference Between Weight Loss and Strength

As we grow older, especially after the age of 60, our bodies naturally lose muscle mass. Muscle isn't just about looking toned. It helps us maintain balance, protects our bones, supports our metabolism, and allows us to continue living independently.

This changed my perspective completely.

Instead of chasing a lighter body, I decided to build a stronger one.

That is a very different conversation.

Your Body Is Not Your Enemy

As an Inner Dialogue Coach, I often remind people that transformation begins with the conversations we have with ourselves.

Why should my relationship with my own body be any different?

Instead of saying,

"Why aren't you losing weight?"

I now choose to ask,

"What do you need from me today?"

That small shift changes everything.

Our bodies respond far better to partnership than punishment.

Strength Is Built Through Simple Actions

Strength training doesn't require an expensive gym membership or a personal trainer.

Sometimes it begins with the simplest movements:

  • Standing up and sitting down from a chair.

  • Doing wall push-ups.

  • Practising gentle glute bridges.

  • Stepping up and down on a single stair.

  • Using a resistance band.

  • Holding a short plank.

These may look like ordinary exercises, but they prepare us for extraordinary moments in everyday life.

Every squat helps us get up from a chair with ease.

Every step-up prepares us to climb stairs confidently.

Every push-up makes carrying groceries or luggage easier.

Every plank supports a healthy back.

Strength is not built for the gym.

It is built for life.

The Goal Is Healthy Ageing

My goal is no longer to become "skinny."

My goal is to become fit, energetic, and capable.

I want to continue coaching, travelling, dancing in Zumba, enjoying Pilates, and serving others with the same passion that I do today.

Healthy ageing isn't measured only by the weighing scale.

It is reflected in:

  • Better energy.

  • Improved balance.

  • Stronger muscles.

  • Better sleep.

  • Greater confidence.

  • A waistline that gradually becomes healthier.

  • The ability to enjoy life without constantly worrying about our body.

Awakening Your Worth Through Every Choice

Every healthy meal is an act of self-respect.

Every walk is a reminder that my body is still carrying me forward.

Every strength exercise is a promise to my future self.

When we truly awaken our worth, we stop trying to become someone else.

Instead, we become better caretakers of the person we already are.

That is the real transformation.

Today, my inner dialogue is no longer focused on becoming lighter.

It is focused on becoming stronger.

Because strength is another way of saying,

"I believe my future is worth investing in."

And perhaps that is one of the greatest expressions of self-worth we can ever offer ourselves.

One Hour That Belongs to You

One Hour That Belongs to You

There is something I want you to remember.

Whether I am live on TikTok at 9:00 a.m. or not, this space still exists.

When you step into the Children of the Universe room, you are here with me, and more importantly, you are here with yourself.

You deserve this one hour.

One uninterrupted hour to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the person who has been quietly waiting for your attention—you.

Many of us have never truly learned how to love ourselves. We've spent years putting everyone else's needs before our own, believing that selflessness is always the right thing to do.

But for just one hour, I invite you to do something different.

Choose yourself.

Set healthy boundaries. Let the people around you know that this is your sacred time. Unless it's an emergency, give yourself permission to be unavailable.

This isn't about shutting people out.

It's about coming home to yourself.

If I'm not live that morning, don't skip the practice. Keep the appointment anyway. Play some gentle music, make yourself comfortable, and begin your inner dialogue.

Use this hour to clear your emotional backlog.

Release the worries you've been carrying.

Let go of the conversations that continue to replay in your mind.

Notice the emotions that no longer serve you, and gently allow them to leave.

Then begin building your boundaries.

Boundaries are not walls that separate us from others. They are foundations that keep us safe, help us stay strong, and remind us what truly matters.

As you sit with yourself, ask:

  • What do I truly want?

  • What is my heart trying to tell me?

  • What do I need to let go of today?

When everything else is stripped away—our titles, possessions, achievements, and expectations—we are left with one precious life and one lifetime.

How do you want to live yours?

After all that inner work, let's lighten the mood a little.

If you're from Malaysia, or if you've visited Malaysia before, I'd love for you to share your favourite Malaysian food with our Children of the Universe community.

Forget about calories for a moment.

Forget about healthy eating.

Just tell us what makes you smile.

Is it nasi lemak, char kway teow, laksa, roti canai, satay, or cendol?

Perhaps your favourite dish is something completely different.

By sharing something as simple as food, we may inspire someone from another part of the world to discover Malaysia through our stories.

Sometimes, the smallest conversations create the biggest connections.

That's what I hope this community becomes—a place where we grow, reflect, laugh, and support one another.

Whether we're talking about life, our inner dialogue, or our favourite local food, we're reminding each other that none of us walks this journey alone.

So tomorrow morning, whether you see me live or not, keep your appointment with yourself.

Your inner dialogue is waiting.

And this room will always be here for you.

Awakening Your Worth: Why I Keep Showing Up Every Morning

Awakening Your Worth: Why I Keep Showing Up Every Morning

Every weekday morning, almost without fail, I go live at 9:00 a.m. on TikTok.

People often ask me, "Peggy, why do you do this every day?"

The answer has never been about social media.

It has never been about numbers, followers or algorithms.

It has always been about creating a space.

A space where people can simply arrive as they are.

Some people come into the room feeling joyful. Some carry anxiety from yesterday. Others arrive exhausted, uncertain or quietly searching for hope. Whatever they bring with them, they are welcome.

As an Inner Dialogue Coach, I believe that before we can change our lives, we need to become aware of what is happening within us. That awareness begins with a conversation—not with someone else, but with ourselves.

The Power of a Daily Check-In

Every morning I invite people to do something very simple.

Pause.

Ask yourself:

  • How am I feeling right now?

  • Is this emotion different from yesterday?

  • If nothing has changed, what can I do differently today?

These questions may appear ordinary, yet they have the power to shift our perspective.

This is what I call Inner Dialogue.

Many people think inner dialogue is complicated. It isn't.

The method I teach begins with three simple stages:

Awareness. Conversation. Alignment.

First, notice what is happening.

Then have an honest conversation with yourself.

Finally, choose an action that aligns with who you want to become.

There is no perfect script.

As you grow, your questions will naturally become deeper and more personal. What matters is not asking the "right" question, but allowing yourself to receive an honest answer.

When You Feel Stuck

We all experience moments when nothing seems to move.

Our thoughts repeat.

Our emotions feel heavy.

Our minds become trapped in the same story.

When that happens, don't rush to find external answers.

Pause.

Have an inner dialogue.

Sometimes even changing a small physical habit can help interrupt the emotional pattern. For example, if you're right-handed, try using your left hand for a moment before switching back. In Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), we call this a break state—a simple way of interrupting an emotional loop so the mind can reset.

Small changes often create space for bigger breakthroughs.

The Room Is More Than a Livestream

People often ask why they should spend an hour in my TikTok Live.

Could they sit quietly somewhere else?

Of course they could.

But when you enter a room filled with people who are intentionally choosing growth, gratitude and self-reflection, something changes.

You realise you are not alone.

You witness people choosing hope over despair, courage over fear and curiosity over judgment.

Whether you describe it as energy, presence or emotional influence, human beings affect one another.

When one person chooses awareness, it quietly gives another person permission to do the same.

That is why community matters.

If You Feel Like Giving Up

There are days when I feel like giving up too.

Building something meaningful isn't always easy.

Some mornings require more courage than others.

But then I remind myself why I started.

Perhaps someone will enter the room today carrying a burden they have never spoken about.

Perhaps today's conversation will help one person pause before making a decision they cannot undo.

Perhaps someone simply needs to hear these words:

"You are enough."

That possibility is enough for me to keep showing up.

Ironically, the people who join my live also encourage me to continue.

You remind me that this work matters.

For that, I am deeply grateful.

Awakening Your Worth Is Not About Being Happy All the Time

One of the biggest misconceptions about personal growth is that awakening means becoming permanently happy.

It doesn't.

Awakening means becoming aware.

It means noticing your thoughts without allowing them to control you.

It means accepting every emotion—not because every emotion is pleasant, but because every emotion has something to teach you.

Growth isn't the absence of sadness.

Growth is learning how to meet sadness with compassion instead of resistance.

My Invitation to You

If today you are carrying yesterday's pain, don't judge yourself.

Simply begin a conversation with yourself.

Ask.

Listen.

Pause.

Notice.

Trust that your inner wisdom has been there all along.

My role is not to give you all the answers.

My role is to create a space where you can hear your own.

Because that is where your worth has always lived.

With gratitude,

And I am here again.

020826 – Good Morning, Children of the Universe

Good morning!

I'm good, thank you.

And have you noticed something?

When you're genuinely doing well, the people around you often feel it too.

Of course, not every day is a good day.

Life gives us good days and difficult days.

Think of your emotions like a savings account.

On your good days, keep making deposits.

Deposit gratitude.

Deposit laughter.

Deposit peace.

Deposit beautiful memories.

Then, when stressful days arrive—and they always do—you have emotional reserves to draw from.

That's why I always encourage you to learn how to process your emotions instead of running away from them.

Every challenge is inviting you to become a slightly better version of yourself.

That is growth.

From Monday to Friday, you'll usually find me here at 9:00 a.m.

Sometimes for an hour.

Sometimes a little shorter, depending on my schedule.

I'm not here to solve everyone's problems.

I'm simply here to create a space where you can spend one quiet moment with yourself.

A space that belongs to you.

If you know someone who feels lonely, please share these morning sessions with them.

Sometimes people don't need advice.

They simply need a place where they feel they belong.

When we learn to become our own friend, loneliness slowly loses its power.

Because our worth doesn't come from the outside.

It has always been within us.

On Monday evenings and Fridays, usually around 5:00 p.m., I'll share different topics.

Everything revolves around transformation, measurement, Inner Dialogue, and coaching.

Sometimes I'll introduce BaZi as a guide for understanding ourselves.

For those unfamiliar with it, BaZi is a form of Chinese metaphysics.

Occasionally I'll also do Oracle Card readings.

Lately I've been thinking about creating short Inner Dialogue classes.

Not because I'm unable to.

Perhaps because I'm still enjoying this journey of learning together online.

When the time feels right, I'll create something that helps people understand themselves through different Inner Dialogue methods.

If you have ideas, I'd love to hear them.

Today I was also playing with some inexpensive online purchases.

I buy many little things—not because I need everything—but because I'm curious.

Sometimes they work.

Sometimes they don't.

Either way, I learn something.

One of them was a knee support.

As I'm taking better care of my health, I realise every small investment in my body is worthwhile.

Another was a funny little comb that supposedly creates a zigzag hairstyle.

Will it work?

I have no idea!

But that's part of the fun.

Life doesn't always have to be serious.

Sometimes we simply play.

Something interesting happened while I was travelling.

Just as I was leaving for the airport, my phone stopped responding properly.

Messages weren't sending.

The internet wasn't working.

I had recently switched to an eSIM and, honestly, I probably pressed the wrong settings myself.

Previously, I would have become frustrated.

This time...

I simply smiled and said,

"Things will happen."

I worked through it.

Eventually everything was fine.

Looking back, I realised something.

My phone wasn't the lesson.

My reaction was.

That made me realise how much my Inner Dialogue has changed.

If you ever see me online without filters...

That's the real Peggy.

Sometimes I look great.

Sometimes I don't.

And that's perfectly okay.

We're all human.

If these morning sessions help you, please share them.

Someone out there may be looking for a safe place to reconnect with themselves.

Hi, I'm Peggy Ang.

An Inner Dialogue Coach focused on Awakening Your Worth.

I help people trust the wisdom of their own voice.

Because you already have the answers.

Sometimes you simply need someone to remind you to listen.

Have a beautiful Sunday.

I'll see you again soon.

Take care.

It is my nature to share and my ability to share is another matter. Typing a script, preparing for live on TikTok, posting on IG /FB - these are all very tedious and tough work for a newbie like me. So I will be kind to myself and just post the transcript of my tikTok live for you to read when you have bump into my page.
